National AACR is a non-profit organization that consists of a network of specially trained and entirely volunteer dog and handler teams. These teams are extensively trained and certified to provide animal assisted emotional support when partnering with disaster mental health and emergency response agencies that provide emotional rescue, recovery and on-going support to individuals who have been affected by crisis and disaster.
West Region
This site is devoted to the National Animal Assisted Crisis Response Teams in Oregon and Washington. This site is independantly funded and maintained.
